Brent Rutley is a professional wetland scientist with over a decade of experience conducting environmental assessments across the Pacific Northwest and Western Canada. He specializes in critical areas studies, wetland delineations, and the preparation of mitigation and monitoring plans for public and private sector clients. Throughout his career, Brent has collaborated with multidisciplinary teams on land development, utility, and restoration projects. He’s built extensive permitting expertise in support of local, state, and federal projects impacting critical areas and their buffers. As a professional biologist, he has led studies for federally listed species and directed field crews on habitat restoration projects throughout Northern Canada. Brent is highly skilled in the identification of sensitive ecosystems and the development of restoration plans designed to enhance ecological function and mitigate project impacts, ensuring no net loss of critical areas in compliance with applicable regulatory requirements.
