Sam Merrick is a Senior Environmental Scientist with 12 years of experience with environmental permitting including: NEPA and SEPA documentation, 404/401 permitting, ESA Section 7, and coordination with stakeholders, tribes, and local, state, and federal government agencies. She has successfully managed fish passage projects, which have included design review, efforts as a fish exclusion lead, conducting wetland delineations, writing wetland reports, and performing habitat assessments to ensure compliance with state and federal regulations. Her strong understanding of fish identification specific to the Pacific Northwest region, combined with her skills in riparian and terrestrial habitat survey methods, enhance her ability to contribute to a broad range of projects.
